Mark Egge, Principal

Mark is a seasoned fundraising professional with expertise in the areas of prospect development (research, analytics, prospect management), campaign planning, management and leadership, strategy, and culture-building. He has presented at the state, regional, and national levels on such topics as wealth & capacity ratings, predictive modeling & analytics, power and influence, and advanced prospect research topics. 

From 2019 until 2023 Mark was the Associate Vice President for Development at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, where he oversaw the annual giving and advancement operations functions. He also helped craft and guide overall advancement strategy at Hamline, in addition to shaping the culture of the department. Prior to this Mark led prospect development at the Greater Twin Cities United Way, overseeing prospect research and is building and implementing a robust prospect management program. He began his career in prospect research at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, where he took over a sophisticated prospect research and management program, and built on this by establishing in-house predictive modeling and analytics functions.

Mark has served in numerous volunteer leadership roles with Apra since 2006. In the Minnesota chapter he served on the board of directors and led the chapter as president for the final two years of his board term. In addition to leading multiple committees and task forces for Apra international, Mark was a director for five years and served a term as president.
